Australian entertainment duo Dean and Geremy Lucas (Spice Market, MoMo) hosted the global launch of their latest venture – 666 Pure Tasmanian Vodka. The exclusive event at Michael Mina’s XIV Restaurant on Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles was attended by U.S. and Australian celebrities including DJ Ruby Rose, supermodel Catherine McNeil, Tiger Woods’ girl, Jamie Jungers, and Michael Johns from American Idol.

Socialite DJ Ruby Rose flew in for the event and kept the crowd moving into the evening with a signature set.

Off The Bench TV

This week Crocmedia Australia and WIN TV launched the 2010 season of Off the Bench TV. The 30 minute program is dedicated to country football and is broadcast on the WIN Network throughout regional Victoria every Thursday night immediately following the Channel 9 Footy Show. WFOA WILD PACIFIC ALBACORE EARNS THE MSC ECO-LABEL

Crocmedia client, the Western Fishboat Owners Association’s (WFOA) albacore tuna fishery was this month awarded the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification for sustainable fisheries. One of just two U.S. tuna fisheries to be certified by the organisation, the MSC logo indicates that seafood was caught from a sustainable fish population using environmentally–sound methods.

“We hope this announcement will encourage more consumers, chefs and retailers to try our troll–caught tuna, which is coveted in Japan and Europe, instead of buying imported tuna,” says WFOA Director, Wayne Heikkila.
